With over 800+ attendees each year, Active Uprising is one of the UK fitness sectors major conferences.

My challenge was to develop branding to set this event apart from the rest of the fitness sectors conferences by creating a striking and bold visual identity. Using strong colours and an authentic tone of voice, I presented Active Uprising as the sector’s most disruptive conference.

 

After the logo was developed, I created a visual identity and brand guidelines for the event. As the diagonal line from the logo mark was a key element used to represent progression and dynamism, I used this concept across various print and social assets.

Images were carefully chosen to evoke a sense of movement, aligning seamlessly with the brands message.

Active Uprising consists of many different sessions and breakouts happening in different rooms at the same time. It was important to make it as easy as possible to navigate the large and complex venues it takes place in.

To achieve this, I made the signage and print materials informative and easy to read whilst still holding the essence of the brand throughout.
